QR Digital parent company Liquid Image Solutions serves CBS Sports owned Max Preps dot com in it’s coverage of the top 100 high school football players in America for 2011 by covering several players in the mid Atlantic region. This weekend, we covered the game of the week for CBS MaxPreps at the United States Naval Academy. The game was part of the Patriot Classic at Navy Stadium and involved the two teams ranked in the top 15 of the U.S. Gilman (Baltimore, MD) took on Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The game involved two players who hold a combined 60 scholarship offers for playing at an NCAA istitution next fall. Everyone from Florida State, to the past two National Champions, Alabama and Auburn have offered these two young men scholarships to come and play football for their programs.

Cyrus Jones, #5 (WR/DB Gilman) is the 88th highest ranked player in America and runs a 4.5 forty yard dash. He has offers from most notably Notre Dame, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, USC, UCLA, Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Penn State, Ohio State, Stanford, Tennessee, Oregon, UVA and Virginia Tech.

On the other side of the ball, is Stefon Diggs, mirroring positions with Jones. Stefon is ranked as the 14th best high school football player in America for the 2011 season. He runs a 4.43 forty yard dash and he has offers from 32 different schools. Alabama, Auburn, Cal, Clemson, Georgia, Maryland, Florida Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, UVA and Virginia Tech. Boston College, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Nebraska, UNC, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pitt, UCLA, USC, and West Virginia. Diggs told us on Saturday, that he had narrowed his choices down to nine of those schools at this point and seemed happy that Coach Randy Edsell of the University of Maryland had come out to see his game at the U.S. Naval Academy.

During a frenzied month with financial crisis dominating the Nations news cycle, CNN’s Lou Dobbs and FOX News financial host Neil Cavuto requested three overlapping live interviews with Lawrence Lindsey, former Assistant to the President and Director of the National Economic Council at the White House serving Ronald Reagan, and George W. Bush. It was October 1, 2009 and Mr. Lindsey was a highly sought expert on the new financial situation and consultant to the U.S. government’s strategic planning regarding the proposed bank bail out. Liquid Image was able to provide a solution and the two cable networks called on LIS to provide one truck and one crew to serve both networks for all three time slots.
